Late last year I received an email from the marketing department from the Royal Mail. The email basically informed me that an
artists impression of me running had been selected to be one of the stamps which would be used in the lead up to the 2012 Games. The queen is the only living person who can appear on a stamp. That's why its an artists impression from the waist down. So the battle scars on my legs ain't there. lol
I just so happened to be in the kitchen washing dishes when it appeared on the news. I had completely forgotten. I told a good friend of mine and all he could say was 'yep can't miss that twisted left ankle' lol. Well I'm honored twisted ankle and all.
I'm off to the post office to go by a couple. :)
