Quote Of The Moment

Don't listen to those who say, 'You're taking too big a chance.' Michelangelo would have painted the Sistine floor, and it would surely be rubbed out by today

In you absence it got turned up several notches

Ive been gone for a minute from practice in Atlanta it would appear.  As the work has been turned up a whole heap.  Its only day two in this six day schedule and I am smashed but, not out.

To start off with we had body fat testing. Yep jump on the scales and then the calipers were out to measure all those areas where you hold fat. I did pretty good at 11.8%. Got some work to do by hell it could have been alot worse.

The session yesterday was a bitch on paper and an even bigger bitch when I ran it. Short recovery session on a Monday. Why????    lol

Sleep was the cure after practice 2 PM till 8 PM i only got up because I need a pee and was hungry.  : (

Today was acceleration I was tapped out by the second set. But, its so good to be back with the group I was able to muscle through. I still have 4 more days. No such thing as easing me in gently.  : )

I've got a new camera so here are some snaps from today enjoy.

Moving onto outdoors

You haven't lost your smile at all, it's right under your nose. You just forgot it was there.

To say I am disappointed with my World Indoors is an understatement

My knee blew up on the plane on the way over and that was pretty much it. The medical team were great as they worked everyday sometimes 3 times a day to get the swelling down. I lost alot of power in my quad and that pretty much is the long and short of it.

I would like to say Thank you to Andy, Lilly, Craig, Pierre and Dr Paul for all their help.

The whole point of this blog is for me to be honest so there you have it. And now I draw a line under indoor 2010 and move on. Ive pretty much taken the week off to let the swelling go down.

I head back to Atlanta in a few hours where the weight room and single leg exercises will be my best friend.

Shrug shoulders

And moving on

(Hey I'm still smiling)
