This morning I woke up in Bob Marley mood. I listend to a couple of songs as I got ready for the day ahead. The above line in one of the songs struck a cord.
We are all out there searching for that ultmate happiness, or what we think will make us happy. But, do we stop to take in the lessons that we learn along the way?
I am a strong believer in things happening for a reason. I not one of those people that have to find the good in everything and everyone. But, I would say I do to find that lesson in those situations when things don't go my way.
The paragraphs I live each day which become the book of Joice Maduaka have been interesting. I have grown into the woman that I am and if I do say so myself I aint doing too bad. I have managed to surrond myself with some great people who have taught me through their actions and words of wisdom how to just be.
Basically what I'm saying is we should take the time to stop and look back on how far we have come. On the little that we have.

ReplyDeletemaybe i need to take a page out of your book and not always try to find the good in everything and everyone and simply find the lesson that each situation teaches, be it good or bad and just try not to make the same mistakes twice. on the flip side, realize why the good things happen and do that more often.
